LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Spring is taking flight at Springs Preserve.

The attraction’s seasonal Butterfly Habitat opens April 4 and runs through May 25, giving visitors a chance to walk among free-flying butterflies and see how the insects interact with the plants that sustain them.

Springs Preserve says the exhibit features butterfly species from throughout the Americas. The habitat will be open Thursday through Monday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., as temperatures allow. Last admission is 15 minutes before closing. Hours and availability may change due to weather or special events.

Admission to the Butterfly Habitat is included with general Springs Preserve admission and is free for members, thanks to a donation from the Springs Preserve Foundation.

Tickets can be purchased in advance on the Springs Preserve website.
