LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas police say a stolen vehicle response resulted in a police pursuit, ending at Boulder Highway and I-11 Friday night.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the investigation into the stolen car started near Flamingo Road and Maryland Parkway, just after 6 p.m. When officers tried to stop the car, the driver fled from officers.
Police said a pursuit started. The driver crashed into another car at the off-ramp of I-11 at Boulder Highway. The occupant of the other car was transported to the hospital with “minor” injuries.
The two suspects fled from the stolen car. One person has been taken into custody, according to police, and another fled into a nearby apartment complex.
“This is still a dynamic scene,” police say. “Please avoid the area due to heavy police presence. ”
