They are scheduled for Wednesday to take on the winner of the game between the Metro Region and the Midwest Region, who are set to take the diamond on Monday at 7 p.m.
At the same time, Wow Carwash pledged to donate $1 from every retail wash purchased on Aug. 10 to support the team’s travel expenses to Pennsylvania. Officials Monday said the effort totalled a $5,000 donation from 4,000 washes.
