LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A suspect has been arrested for a fatal northeast Las Vegas shooting.
Las Vegas Metro police said the shooting happened early December of last year in the 3800 block of Soda Springs Drive. This is near Cheyenne Avenue and Walnut Road.
Officers who arrived at the scene found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical arrived and transported the man to a nearby hospital.
The woman died at the scene.
LVMPD’s homicide detectives learned that the victims were inside a vehicle when several people approached the car and shot the pair.
The suspects fled the area before police could arrive.
Tuesday, FOX5 learned that Donta Allen was arrested for this shooting. There was no immediate update on additional suspects.
