LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A man was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred this past Friday in the east valley, police say.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, David Medina-Luna, 32, was taken into custody later that day and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for open murder with the use of a deadly weapon.

LVMPD officers responded to reports of a man shot in the 2800 block of East Bonanza Road around 12:44 a.m. and located a male inside a vehicle suffering from several gunshot wounds.
Police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives learned the victim was in his vehicle listening to music.
Shortly after, an argument was heard between the victim and another male followed by gunfire.
The suspect fled the area before officers arrived.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified Medina-Luna as the suspect.
The victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, can be obtained through the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
