LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – North Las Vegas police arrested a man in connection to a deadly shooting on I-15 near Cheyenne Avenue Sunday.
Around 7:16 a.m. on Sunday, March 2, Nevada State Police contacted NLVPD about a homicide in the area. Arriving officers located a man inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The suspect involved in the shooting stayed at the scene, police said.
An investigation found that the suspect and victim were inside the vehicle together before the shooting, and the suspect called 911 after.
NLVPD identified the suspect as 28-year-old Joseph De Luna, who was arrested on an open murder charge and booked in North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center.
