LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police arrested a man for a deadly shooting that happened in a west valley parking lot two weeks ago.

Morning of Tuesday, March 11, Las Vegas Metro Police received a call about a man who was shot in a parking lot outside a Dotty’s near Charleston and Jones.

When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He died a the scene.

Homicide detectives responded. They learned the victim was standing next to his vehicle when another vehicle pulled into the parking lot. After a conversation, someone from inside the vehicle shot the victim. The suspect vehicle fled before police could arrive.

The suspect was identified as 37-year-old Salvador Degadillo. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for open murder.

According to Las Vegas Justice Court records, he is due for a status check Thursday morning.

“The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, can be obtained through the Clark County Coroner’s Office,” police said.
