NYE COUNTY, Nev. (FOX5) — A suspect is in custody Saturday evening after firing a shotgun at a Nye County brothel, according to the sheriff’s office.
The Nye County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to reports of a man firing a shotgun at Sheri’s Ranch Brothel on Homestead Road.
In a Facebook post, NCSO addressed social media posts about the situation and assured community members that a suspect was in custody and no one was injured.
“As many of you have already heard through social media, there was a subject reported with a shotgun at Sheree’s Ranch on the far south end of Homestead Road,” the post read.
The sheriff’s office said there is no reason to believe there is any further threat as a result of the incident.
