LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A woman has turned herself in to police after a deadly battery in North Las Vegas, police say.

North Las Vegas Police say the battery happened Tuesday at 10:24 p.m. in the 2200 block of Glastonbury Thorn Street, near Carey and MLK Boulevard.

Medical transported the victim to UMC where he would die the next morning.

NLVPD detectives took over the investigation. Police identified the suspect as 21-year-old Kailyn Webb. She turned herself in Wednesday.

She was booked on one count of open murder.

The identification of the deceased, along with the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
