LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The man accused of murdering Tabitha Tozzi in 2023 was arrested in Mexico for the murder of another woman, sources tell FOX5.

The Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de Sonora shared the arrest of a man named Jorge “N”, 32, on Facebook Tuesday night. The post states that Jorge was arrested for the murder of a woman named Viviana Karely “N,” but was also wanted by the FBI for murdering his partner in the United States in 2023.

Sources tell FOX5 that Jorge was identified as Oswaldo “Nathaniel” Perez-Sanchez.

Wednesday morning, Las Vegas Metro Police announced that Perez-Sanchez had been taken into custody in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico by the Fiscalía Unidad Especializada en Aprehensiones with support from the Mexican Marines and Agencia Ministerial de Investigación Criminal. The same area where Jorge was arrested, according to the FGJE.

FOX5 spoke to the family of Viviana, who are hoping for justice for both Viviana and Tabitha.

Viviana’s sister, Alma Aispuro, told FOX5 in Spanish, “I’m not using my voice just for my sister but also for [Tabitha], because she didn’t deserve to die. They were the same age, they had so much to live for, and I don’t think it’s fair that he dimmed their light so soon.”

Tabitha Tozzi’s mother, Regina Lacerda, shared the following statement Wednesday afternoon:

A celebration of life will be held for Tozzi at Craig Ranch Park on April 24 starting at 2 p.m.

Metro Police says Perez-Sanchez faces charges in Mexico and is pending extradition to the United States.
