LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – FOX5 obtained the autopsy report for Matthew Livelsberger, the suspect in the Las Vegas Cybertruck explosion on New Year’s Day.

Livelsberger was identified by Metro Police as the suspect in the explosion outside Trump International Hotel Las Vegas. According to the Department of Defense, the suspect was also a member of the Green Berets at one point, with multiple tours in Afghanistan.

He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. When police and the coroner were able to get to his body, it was reportedly “burnt beyond recognition.”

According to documents from the Clark County coroner, Livelsberger had THC and Benzene in his system.

THC is the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. The coroner said Benzene is commonly found in gasoline and paint removers.

The coroner also spoke to Livelsberger’s wife. She told officials he was being treated for PTSD when he was stationed in Germany. She knew of him drinking occasionally, but never using tobacco or other drugs.

Livelsberger’s wife said he took Prozac and made comments about ending his life, but she said life for him appeared to be better afterward.

His wife told the coroner he got home Dec. 21 last year and was supposed to return to duty in Germany on Jan. 5.

During his time back home, the couple and his child were supposed to go on a trip to buy drones from a Navy Seal, but his wife said the two got into an argument.
