LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – One of the suspects in Reba the Bulldog’s death has re-entered a plea Thursday afternoon.

Markeisha Foster pleaded guilty before Judge Susan Johnson. She faces a felony animal cruelty charge.

Her sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. She will be released June 30 from the Clark County Detention Center.

Foster is expected to willingly appear for her sentence in September.

Foster is one of two suspects accused of an English Bulldog’s death in July 2024. The dog, later named Reba by her rescuers, was found in a taped tote bin during a hot summer day. Despite all treatments, Reba died from heat exhaustion.

The second suspect, Isaac Laushal, was recently denied a change of venue for his case. His lawyers argued that he would not get a fair trial because of the media attention.

A judge disagreed and denied. Laushal’s jury trial is planned for June 16.
