LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police say a man was found dead with stab wounds east of the Strip.

Metro police said the stabbing happened in the 2200 block of Renaissance Drive Friday afternoon. This is near Tropicana and Eastern avenues.

Metro arrived and found a man with stab wounds. Medical arrived and said he died at the scene.

Metro’s homicide section took over. Police believe the victim was overheard in a fight with an unknown person. The next day, the man was found dead in his tent.

“The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, can be obtained through the Clark County Coroner’s Office,” police said.
