LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A fight ended in a deadly stabbing in northeast Las Vegas Sunday, according to police.

After 6 p.m., dispatchers received a call about a fight in the 3100 block of North Nellis Boulevard near Cheyenne Avenue. A second call came shortly after reporting that a man died at the same location.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived at the scene and found the man lying in a parking lot with several stab wounds. Officers rendered medical aid until he was transported to an area hospital, where he died.

According to homicide detectives, the victim and suspect “exchanged words” inside a business and began fighting outside.

Police say the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times and fled the scene. The suspect remains at large.

An investigation into this homicide is ongoing.
