LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Jesus Ayala the teen accused of murder was found competent to stand trial, according to court documents.
The killing was caught on camera when two teens in a stolen car intentionally hit a Las Vegas bicyclist.

Ayala was 17 years old when the 64-year old retired police officer was hit from behind in the northwest Valley in Aug. 2023.
When the teen turned 19 the judge ordered Ayala to receive psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
The ruling today found Ayala is capable of understanding the charges against him.
Ayala and co-defendant Jzamir Keys, have both plead not guilty in the case.
