Teen shot and killed at Las Vegas park identified

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The teen who was shot and killed following an attempted robbery has been identified.

The Clark County Coroners’ office identified the teen killed as Julio Bravo, 17, of Las Vegas.

The shooting happened on Sept. 15 around 1 a.m., when police said three teenagers had been shot on Washington Avenue near Lamb Boulevard.

According to an arrest report, Jose Juarez and another male attempted to rob two people, a male and a female, as they sat on a bench at East Family Park.

When the male refused to give them anything, police say shots were fired. The male was reportedly shot in the face and stomach.

Juarez and two other teens were arrested and face charges.

According to court records, Juarez is set to appear in court on Oct. 2.
