LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Jurors will continue deliberating in the trial of a former Clark County official accused of killing a Las Vegas journalist back in May of 2022.
The jury is expected to resume deliberations at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Not only does the jury decide whether he is guilty or not guilty, but in murder trials there is usually a penalty phase which means if the jury finds Telles guilty, they can decide his sentence
Right now Telles if convicted faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
