LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and Clark County firefighters gave a timeline of events leading up to and shortly after the Cybertruck explosion.
7:30 a.m. – Metro investigators said “charging station” data shows the 2024 Cybertruck arrived in Las Vegas. It was rented out of Colorado via the Turo app, and driven to Nevada.
8:40 a.m. – Detectives said the vehicle drove up and down the Strip until just before 8:40 a.m. It pulled up to the valet, and the glass door entrance to the Trump International hotel.

8:44 a.m. – Firefighters from “Engine 12” arrived and pulled attack lines to extinguish the fire, with help from the sprinkler systems.
8:58 a.m. – Audio from dispatchers gives insight into the investigation, discovery of the deceased driver, and effort to help victims.
“419 inside. sprinklers going off. We’ve got three medical patients,” a crew member reported to dispatch; “419″ is the code for a person found deceased.
Drone video shows firefighters covered the vehicle with a tarp to put out the flames.
Firefighters found seven victims. Two were taken to the hospital. UMC confirmed they treated two patients, and released them.
