LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A trial has been delayed for one of the suspects accused of intentionally hitting and killing a bicyclist in 2023.

Andreas “Andy” Probst was also a retired police chief. He was allegedly killed by Jesus Ayala and Jzamir Keys. They were 17 and 16 the day of the incident, respectively.

Ayala’s jury trial was expected April 28. It has now been pushed to Sept. 29.

Late February, Ayala was found competent to stand trial. He is now 19.

Probst’s killing was recorded by the two teens in a stolen car.
