LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Duane “Keffe D” Davis has been hit with a new battery charge related to a fight with another inmate last Thursday, court documents reveal.

During the incident, FOX5 Davis was being escorted back to his unit after a visit when he and another inmate, identified as Rochlon Hamilton, began fighting.

Davis is then seen taking Hamilton to the ground and placing him in a headlock at one point before the two continued exchanging blows.

After ignoring verbal commands from a prison officer, both inmates were pepper sprayed. When the fight continued, additional officers arrived and the two were separated.

When asked about the fight later, Davis told officers he was “standing his ground” and refused to speak further without an attorney present.

Hamilton also refused to speak to officers without an attorney present.

Davis appeared in court Tuesday morning on battery charges related to the fight.

His next court appearance was set for Wednesday, Feb. 11.
