LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Two adults were killed, and two teens were injured in an east valley crash Friday afternoon.

The collision occurred at 4:29 p.m. at the intersection of North Lamb Boulevard and Kell Lane.

Detectives with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department determined that a 2012 GMC Yukon Denali was traveling north on Lamb at a high speed. At the same time, a 2008 Nissan Sentra was stopped at a stop sign, heading west on Kell.

The crash occurred when the Nissan attempted to cross Lamb, but was struck on its side by the GMC.

Emergency Medical Services responded and pronounced the Nissan driver and passenger dead at the scene. The GMC driver and passenger were taken to UMC and later released.

“The driver and passenger deaths mark the 109th and 110th traffic-related fatalities in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction for the year 2024,” police noted in a release. “The collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section.”
