LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Two people were taken to the hospital Sunday night after a North Las Vegas home caught fire.

Around 8:45 p.m., the North Las Vegas Fire Department responded to the structure fire in the 1200 block of Red Hollow Drive alongside Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.

Arriving crews located a two-story house engulfed in flames, which extended from the first floor to the attic in an area with vaulted ceilings.

NLVFD extinguished the fire, and an investigation is underway into the cause of the fire.

Two people were transported to University Medical Center for smoke inhalation.
