LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro Police have arrested 2 suspects who were indicted in connection with an explosion at Piero’s Italian Cuisine.
According to court documents, Sarah Hernandez, 34, and Phillip Gonzales, 54, were arrested on Dec. 7.
Court documents confirm a Clark County Grand Jury indicted three suspects for allegedly purposely setting the fire with the intent to burn the building.
The three individuals listed are facing 6 felony counts, including manufacturing an explosive device, first-degree arson, use of explosives to damage or destroy property, conspiring to commit first-degree arson, carrying a concealed explosive substance or firearm, and possession of a controlled substance.
On Thursday, Dec. 4, Joseph Gutierrez, 18, was the fourth suspect arrested in connection with the incident, according to Las Vegas Metro Police.
The small explosion occurred around 2 a.m. on Convention Center Drive in November.
Surveillance video shows several suspects on the property placing what police described as an “improvised explosive device” near the entrance.
Police report that the first suspect, John Navarro, was identified days after the incident, through the surveillance video, and arrested on Nov. 14.
