LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A 25-year-old man reportedly purchased 40 firearms for gang activity, US Marshals say.
The US Marshals Service Nevada Violent Offender Task Force arrested Davieon Rowe in Las Vegas.
He was wanted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosive for conspiracy to make a false statement in the acquisition of a firearm, aiding and abetting, and sale or transfer of a firearm to a prohibited person.
Law enforcement says he purchased the firearms for a Crips street gang in its feud with another gang in San Bernardino, California, in 2021.
The task force had assistance from the Clark County School Police Department. US Marshals say he was apprehended at 2:40 p.m. March 1 in the 2600 block of Concord Heights St. He will go through the district court system.
“This arrest sends a clear message — those who support gang violence will be stopped,” said U.S. Marshal Gary Schofield.
