LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Head coach Barry Odom will be taking his talents after the Rebels game to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The Rebels Head coach will be the Grand Marshal for the South Point 400 on Sunday, Oct 20.
Odom will join several Las Vegas sports figures in recent years
To shout “Drivers start your engines” before the NASCAR Cup Series playoff race.
“I have been a NASCAR fan for quite some time and have been to many races at other tracks,” Odom said. “But this will be my first time doing ‘Drivers Start Your Engines!’ and to do it here in Las Vegas, where our family has made our home, will be extra special,”
UNLV Football announced they will return on track tomorrow with their first Mountain West road game of the year.
The 4 and 1 rebels visit Utah State on Friday, Oct 11, at 6 p.m.
It’s the first of two straight weeks on the road for the rebels.
