LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV men’s golf sophomore Zach Little was tabbed the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Thursday. This is both his first career MW weekly honor and the first for the program this season.

The Croxley Green, England native earned his first career collegiate victory at Hawai’i’s John A. Burns Intercollegiate, taking home co-medalist honors with a 54-hole score of 11-under 199 (71-63-65). His play helped the Rebels secure their second team win of the 2024-25 campaign as co-champions of the event with a 22-under 818.

Additionally, Little set the par-70 course record at the Ocean Course at Hokuala in the tournament’s second round, shooting a bogey-free 7-under 63. The 63 moved him into a tie for the program’s second-lowest score in a single round while his 199 tied him for the fifth-lowest 54-hole score in school history.

After his win, Little moved up to No. 25 in the national individual rankings from his previous spot of 98th. The Rebels also made a jump 10 spots up the team rankings to No. 31 in the country.

UP NEXT: The Rebels will continue their preparations to host the Southern Highlands Collegiate in 10 days from March 2-4 at Southern Highlands Golf Club.
