LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Skatin’ Rebels are back and ready to drop the puck for their highly-anticipated 2024-2025 season!
Following another successful season and postseason run, UNLV REBEL HOCKEY will once again hit the ice at City National Arena in Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas for 16 home games, beginning Friday, October 11, 2024 against the University of Oregon.
UNLV REBEL HOCKEY will once again be joining the Western College Hockey League (WCHL) for the 2024-2025 season, with the opportunity to play for a conference championship and compete for an automatic bid to the ACHA D-1 National Championship Tournament for the first time in program history. UNLV’s schedule includes home matchups against rivals University of Oregon (Oct. 11-12), University of Colorado-Boulder (Nov. 1-2), University of Utah (Nov. 14-15), and San Diego State University (Jan. 23-24), as well as road matchups against defending NCAA D1 Champions University of Denver (Dec. 28) and NCAA D1’s Colorado College (Dec. 29).
