LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s office in San Francisco believes an unsolved case has new leads in the Las Vegas Valley.
Arianna Fitts disappeared in 2016. Her mother, Nicole was found buried at McLaren Park on April 8, 2016 around 10:30 a.m.
The San Francisco Police Department is leading the homicide investigation.
The FBI has a missing person’s case for Arianna. They believe there’s new investigative leads in the Las Vegas Valley area.
“The investigation into Arianna Fitts’ disappearance is still very active,” FBI San Francisco said. “We are confident that there are individuals who have information about where she may be, and we encourage them to come forward and speak to law enforcement and help bring Arianna back home.”
Arianna was last seen in Oakland, California in January or February of 2016. She was reported missing on April 5, 2016.
The FBI believes that Fitts was not with her mother when she was killed. At the time of her disappearance, Fitts weighed 45 pounds and was two-feet tall.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children provided a visual of what she would look like at eight years old, and a newly updated one since Dec. of 2024.
The SFPD has $250K reward for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction for the murder of Nicole Fitts and the disappearance of her daughter.
Police believe that Arianna was in the care and custody of her babysitter and her husband at the time of her disappearance. Police say Nicole was lured to meet the babysitter and was never seen alive again.
