LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Drivers in the Las Vegas area should prepare for a series of overnight lane and ramp closures on Interstate 215 (I-215) as the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) continues its I-215 Pavement Preservation Project.

This essential initiative aims to enhance nearly four miles of I-215, specifically between the I-15 interchange and Windmill Lane, through significant improvements including sign replacement, lighting upgrades, and permanent striping.

Motorists are advised to use extreme caution when traveling through work zones and to consider alternate detour routes to avoid potential delays. NDOT collaborates with Waze to provide real-time updates on planned highway restrictions. Please note that the schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or other unforeseen factors.
