LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Vegas Golden Knights snapped a two-game skid last night, thanks in large part to their goaltender Adin Hill.

He was named the first Star of the Night, marking 27 saves and his fourth shutout of the season. His reward this morning? A brand-new contract.

The former Stanley Cup champion signed a six-year extension worth more than $37 million in total. It’s an average of $6.25 million per season and keeps him in Las Vegas through the 2030-31 season.

The 28-year-old goalie is in the midst of a career season, posting 24 wins, which is good for 7th in the league, and winning five of his last six starts.

This is the fifth current player to sign a contract extension this season. Hill joins Shea Theodore, Brayden McNabb, Brett Howden, and Keegan Kolesar.
