LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Vegas Golden Knights ended their preseason schedule with a sour taste.
Saturday night, Vegas fell to the San Jose Sharks 6-5.
Pavel Dorofeyev scored the third hat trick for the Knights’ preseason history giving the team a 5-3 lead late in the third.
However, in the final three minutes, the Sharks scored three unanswered, including the game winner with 12 seconds left on the clock.
Now, while it won’t count in the regular season standings, the team says it is a hard lesson to stomach.
