LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Golden Knights are in the midst of a two-game losing streak and now left for the east coast.

The team is starting a four-game road trip. Friday, general manager Kelly McCrimmon added some depth to the lineup before departure.

The team announced the signing of 32-year-old winger Brandon Saad. He’s signed to a one-year contract worth $1.5 million.

He’s a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Chicago Blackhawks with over 900 NHL games to his name. He played in over 100 more this postseason.

Saad scored seven goals and 16 points in 43 games with St. Louis before being released by the Blues earlier this month.

Las Vegas is back in action Sunday against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.
