LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A golden knight brightening the day for cancer patients at a local treatment center.
Defenseman Shea Theodore visited Patients and staff at the comprehensive Cancer center in Las Vegas.
Thodore posed for pictures and signed hockey pucks.
The Golden Knight star donated $50,000 to their medical efforts from ‘Kay’s Power Play Fund’ which is named in honor of his grandmother, who passed away from breast cancer.
“She came here and had great care and great help the team look really good care of her and she was a huge part of our life,” said the Golden Knight Defenseman.
Along with the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the funds will help people with breast cancer as they face financial hardships during their treatment.
