LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas’ first professional volleyball team, Vegas Thrill, announces FOX5 KVVU and the Silver State Sports and Entertainment Network (SSSEN) as the official broadcast partner for the 2024 season. Volleyball fanatics can watch select games on channel 125, available to Cox cable subscribers and over-the-air on broadcast channel 5.2.
“We are beyond excited to partner with Silver State Sports and FOX5 KVVU for our upcoming debut season,” says Vegas Thrill President, Ruben Herrera. “This is a golden opportunity to introduce fans to the world of professional volleyball and we are so excited to collaborate with SSSEN to bring the adrenaline-pumping action to fans across the city.”
SSSEN is a member of the FOX5 KVVU broadcast family. The station will air a minimum of six games in the upcoming inaugural season and up to all 12 home game matches as the season progresses. Vegas Thrill’s first Pro Volleyball Federation match will air on Feb. 7 against the Omaha Supernovas in Omaha, Nebraska. The team’s first home game will air on Feb. 15 as they face the Supernovas again.

Led by an all-star leadership team including Head Coach Fran Flory, Analyst and Consultant Russ Rose, volleyball veteran and Vegas Thrill President Ruben Herrera, and franchise players Alisha Glass Childress and Khat Bell, the powerhouse lineup now includes Layne Van Buskirk, Saskia Hippe, Molly McCage, Berkeley Oblad, Hannah Pukis, Gabby Gonzales, Kylie Murr, Hannah Maddux and Maddie Schermerhorn.
The Vegas Thrill is one of seven U.S. teams for the inaugural Pro Volleyball Federation season in 2024, while Dallas and Kansas City have been announced as 2025 expansion teams. In 2024, the Vegas Thrill will play 24 matches to include 12 at its home arena, The Dollar Loan Center and 12 on the road in the regular season. Vegas Thrill will play their first Pro Volleyball Federation match on Feb. 7 playing the Omaha Supernovas in Omaha, Nebraska.
Following the regular season, the Vegas Thrill are aiming to be one of the top four squads in the standings that will compete for the Pro Volleyball Federation Championship in May. The location of the championship will be determined and announced at a later date.
Season memberships are available now with a $100 deposit for tickets ranging from $29 to $114 per match for 12 home contests. Full season and half season VIP membership are available as well.
