LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The reported theft of a vehicle led to a short pursuit with police and a crash in central Las Vegas Saturday.
The incident occurred just after 3:30 p.m. near Monroe Avenue and H Street in central Las Vegas. There, police received a report of a strong-arm robbery, or a robbery involving the use of physical force or intimidation rather than a weapon, where a vehicle was stolen.
Not long after, officers found the vehicle nearby. Las Vegas Metropolitan police engaged in a short pursuit before the stolen vehicle crashed.
The unidentified suspects were taken into custody, and the incident remains under investigation by police.
