LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Victoria Seaman has conceded the Las Vegas mayoral race to Shelley Berkley.
In a Facebook post Thursday morning, Seaman said that serving the people of Las Vegas was “an honor and a true privilege.”
Currently, Berkeley leads Seaman by 15,037 votes, though the Associated Press has yet to call the race.
“While the outcome of the Mayor’s race is not what we had hoped, I wholeheartedly congratulate Shelley Berkley on her election as the next mayor of Las Vegas,” the post continues.
“Campaigning across our great city has been an experience I will cherish forever,” Seaman said.
