LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – North Las Vegas police are asking for help to find a white van suspected of leaving a crash that left a pedestrian “seriously injured.”

The North Las Vegas Police Department said the crash happened at 1:40 a.m. Monday at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Craig Road.

Police say a white Nissan van traveled eastbound on Craig approaching MLK. At the same moment, a pedestrian was crossing southbound MLK at a crosswalk.

Police said the driver of the van struck the pedestrian with its front end. Police say they don’t know who had the light.

“The driver exited the van and walked toward the pedestrian,” police said. “The driver of the van then re-entered his vehicle and fled eastbound on Craig Road.”

Based off of debris, NLV investigators say the van could be a 2013-2018 Nissan NV 200.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
