LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend returns at The Orleans Hotel & Casino, bringing four days of vintage music, dancing, fashion, and classic cars.
This year, the event will take place starting Thursday, April 9 through Sunday, April 12, in what will be founder Tom Ingram’s final year producing the festival after nearly three decades.
What to expect (and why to go):
- Live music all weekend (about 40 bands) plus 20 DJs
- All-night record hops that run until 7 a.m.
- Dance lessons + competitions to jump in even if you’re new
- Tiki pool parties for three days
- The can’t-miss Saturday Classic Car Show (huge lineup of pre-1964 cars) with live performances, featuring Dale Watson, Jason D. Williams, The Go Getters, and Gizzelle
- Vintage shopping with 120+ vendors (perfect for retro outfits, accessories, and collectibles)
- Fun extras: burlesque shows, pin-up contest, zoot suit contest, tattoo lounge, and even on-site weddings
