LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A fire pit sparked a small fire at Mark Wahlberg’s Flecha Cantina Thursday night.

A restaurant representative told FOX5 that the “defective” pit caused a fire in the patio area, which resulted in minor damage to the pit itself and a chair nearby.

A fire pit sparked a small fire at Mark Wahlberg’s Flecha Cantina in Las Vegas Thursday night.

Clark County Fire Department crews arrived at the scene around 5:32 p.m. and discovered that the restaurant’s sprinklers had activated. Firefighters also noted that occupants had already evacuated.

The fire was determined to be “confined to a single propane fire table.” Once the flames were extinguished, firefighters were able to turn off the propane tanks linked to the table.

Firefighters also reviewed surveillance video that showed the fire starting within the internal components of the table.

No damage was found inside the restaurant, and according to restaurant reps, it was reopened by 7 p.m.
