LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A semi-truck fire has shut down all northbound I-11 lanes at Eastern Avenue in the east valley Monday morning.
Several Las Vegas Fire & Rescue trucks have responded to the scene and are working to put the fire out, though details of how the fire started were not immediately available.
Crews on the scene tell FOX5 that garbage in the truck bed caught fire.
A closure was briefly in place on I-11 between Charleston and Eastern but reopened around 6:30 a.m. after crews moved the semi off the freeway.
