LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Authorities are currently responding to a crash on westbound Sahara Avenue after Buffalo Drive that has resulted in the closure of all westbound lanes.
According to officials, one person was ejected from a vehicle on Friday during the crash and has been transported to a local hospital. The injury is not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
Investigators indicate that the collision may be related to a medical event experienced by one of the drivers involved.
The intersection remains closed as emergency crews work the scene. Motorists are being asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
All westbound lanes on Sahara Avenue after Buffalo Drive are currently blocked, and there is no estimated time for reopening.
