LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Clark County Fire continues to battle the fourth recent fire at Wetlands Park Wednesday.

Clark County Fire Department crews started battling a brush fire in a desert area northeast of Old Silver Bowl Park off Weisner Way Tuesday afternoon. CCFD’s last update Tuesday said the fire burned 100 acres and crews were working through the night.

At 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, CCFD said the fire is now at an estimated 110 acres with 20 percent containment. Crews are continuing to extinguish hotspots and hope to have full containment by the end of the day.

The cause of the fire is undetermined. This is the fourth fire Wetlands has seen over the past recent months.

“The public is reminded that no open flames, off-roading, target shooting, or fireworks are allowed in any Clark County park,” officials said.
