What to know ahead of the Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The largest Veterans Day parade west of the Mississippi will kick off Tuesday morning to honor service members around the valley.

According to the Veterans Action Group, the annual downtown Las Vegas parade will begin at 4th Street and Garces Avenue around 10 a.m., and end at 4th and Stewart Avenue. A flyover will also signal the start of the parade at 10 a.m.

Active duty service members, first responders, and veterans groups will be among the many participating in the parade.

The National Anthem will be performed by Dennis Bono, host of The Dennis Bono Show. Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo will serve as 2025’s grand marshal.

3rd street will be closed between Charleston Boulevard and Garces Avenue to 4th street between Charleston and Stewart Avenue from 7 a.m. until noon.

“We are honored to host the Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade once again, as it provides an opportunity for our community to come together and express our gratitude to those who have selflessly served our country,” said parade spokesperson Dixon Keller. “This parade is a symbol of our deep appreciation for their sacrifices and a chance to celebrate their bravery.”
