LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Las Vegas widow marked the one-year anniversary of her husband’s death in a motorcycle crash by placing a banner at the intersection where he was killed and urging drivers to slow down and watch for riders.

Kelly Dodder said her husband, Jordan Dodder, was riding to work when a driver ran a stop sign and struck him at West Russell Road and South Lindell Road. He died at the scene, she said.
“I hope that they see it and it touches them just like it should,” Dodder said of the banner. “They should read it and think, my gosh, OK, so now I’m going to slow down. I’m going to think twice. I’m going to take a second look so I don’t hit another motorcycle.”
Dodder said many deadly crashes involving motorcyclists in Clark County happen when drivers turn into a rider’s path or pull into a rider’s lane, causing a crash. She also said the driver involved in her husband’s crash was not charged.
