LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A 59-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to a west valley shooting from last weekend.
According to Las Vegas Metro Police, the shooting occurred on East Converse Drive near North Hollywood Boulevard around 8:35 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12. A man – later identified as 57-year-old Tony Harris – was found lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.
Harris later died at the scene.
An investigation found that Harris was seen arguing with an unknown individual, who fled the area, before the shooting.
Police have identified that individual as 59-year-old Theresa Beets was arrested on Tuesday in connection to the deadly shooting. She has been booked into the Clark County Detention Center on open murder and kidnapping charges.
She is due in court on Wednesday.
