LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The same person involved in a deadly shooting on the Las Vegas Strip late last month is also accused of previously threatening someone with a gun, according to documents obtained by FOX5.
A law enforcement source confirmed to FOX5 that she was arrested on a separate incident following the shooting on Las Vegas Boulevard.
The shooting happened on Las Vegas Boulevard between Sands Avenue and Siren’s Cove Drive last Monday. The 24-year-old woman shot an Uber driver who approached her vehicle, according to police. It is still unclear what led up to the shooting.
Documents obtained by FOX5 confirm the woman who shot and killed the rideshare driver has used a gun before as a threat.
Back in May, the 24-year-old allegedly threatened another woman at a restaurant claiming she cut her in line. The altercation took place near the Las Vegas premium outlets in the south valley, the report said.
The 24-year-old then followed the mother of four to her car where things escalated even more. The report says the woman went to her vehicle, retrieved a gun and began threatening the woman with it.
When the suspect was arrested following the shooting on the Strip, she told police she never pointed the gun at the restaurant customer.
Las Vegas police tell FOX5 the Strip shooting case has been sent to the Clark County District Attorney’s office for a “self defense review.”
