LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one injured late Sunday night.
The shooting happened just before midnight in a neighborhood near Washington Avenue and Pecos Road.
Two women got into an argument, and moments later, one of the women shot the other twice.
According to Metro police, an argument broke out between two women, and a fight ensued. “The homeowner then shot the woman she was fighting,” a watch commander said.
The injured woman went back to her home, where she called 911, telling them she had been shot, police said. She was then taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other information has been released at this time. It is unclear if any arrests were made.
