LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified a woman who was found shot and killed in her car last week.

Hope Ritter, 29, was found in her car Saturday morning near Fremont and Las Vegas Boulevard with multiple gunshot wounds to the head, the coroner’s office said. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said Ritter and another woman were in the car talking when two mean walked past them and shot inside the car.

Ritter was pronounced dead at the scene.

FOX5 has learned Ritter was an employee at Atomic Liquors, just a few blocks from where she was shot.

The company released a statement on Facebook saying in part, “Hope’s warm presence touched the lives of our regular patrons and the entire downtown community. Her loss is a profound one…”

“She was an incredibly warm, kind person,” Andrew Mendez, the General Manager of Atomic Liquors, said Thursday. “She had built up a following of regulars. You know, with her, with her personality, that they came here when over the weekends when they knew she’d be working .”

The bar is holding a memorial and fundraiser for her family this Sunday.

Ritter was a mom to a 9-year-old girl. All profits from this Sunday’s memorial will go to her daughter.
