LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The City of Las Vegas is offering free trees to residents in specific zip codes.
The program includes the tree, planting, and an irrigation system.

These areas often have higher temperatures due to a lack of tree canopy and too much concrete.
The goal is to plant 60,000 drought-tolerant trees by the year 2050.
If you live in the city of Las Vegas, zip codes 89101, 89102, 89104, 89106, 89107, or 89110, you may qualify for a free tree.
Residents in these zip codes may apply online now to qualify for a tree, planting, and an irrigation system.
