LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A YouTuber accused of shooting and killing a man and woman on the Las Vegas Strip last June is seeking bail ahead of a trial scheduled for this summer.
Manuel Ruiz, known on YouTube as “Sin City Manny,” is accused of shooting and killing Rodney Finley and his wife, Tanisha. Ruiz has been held in jail without bail on murder charges. The district attorney’s office is considering the death penalty in the case. Ruiz has pleaded not guilty.

Bail motion filed
This week, Ruiz’s attorneys argued he should be granted bail and placed on electronic monitoring. His defense claims Ruiz shot the couple in self-defense and that Ruiz and Finley had an ongoing feud, which included a battery report.
